Health and Fitness Workshop

It is time to learn how to get in shape for the spring! Please join personal trainer Alberto Padillo, owner of Level-up Performance, on Sunday, May 19th after the 10:00 a.m. service.

Alberto will lead us in exercises for all ages and offer ways of improving eating habits.

Sign up begins on May 5. Wear comfortable clothes.

About the instructor for this event:


Alberto Padilla is a passionate nationally-certified Personal Trainer and Self-defense Instructor based in Portland, Oregon. Growing up in Chicago, Illinois, his passion for fitness has been prominent all throughout his childhood and beyond. During his high school years, Alberto was an avid wrestler. By the time he was a senior, he realized that he desired nothing more than to make a positive impact in people’s lives through personal training.

Alberto has served as a Personal Trainer since 2009 and became a JKD
& Boxing Practitioner a year prior to that. He is also PICP Level 2 Certified, TRX Certified, and Jeet Kune Do Certified.

Both driven and equally as dedicated, Alberto is on a mission to help people attain optimum health by providing results-driven tools that will put them on the fast lane towards success.

When he isn’t training his clients, Alberto loves being in the
great outdoors and spending quality time with his loved ones.


Afternoon Tea Party w/Episcopal Church Women

You are invited to an afternoon of tea and conversation benefiting the mission and ministry of St. John's Episcopal church on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 2 PM – 5 PM.

Scones, dainty tea sandwiches, salads and desserts will be provided. Gluten Free Selections will be available. Fancy Hats are optional! There will be fashion show sponsored by Christopher & Banks, Silent Auction, Music, Door Prizes and more.

The cost is $25 per person. Seating is limited. Tickets must be purchased in advance.

We are looking for 10 to 12 Woman Models for the afternoon Tea Fashion Show!! Usually, models receive a percentage off of outfits they model if they decide to purchase. If you are interested please either call or email Mary Detman.
